Apart from DRBD, author of mergemem (a modification of Linux's memory management system)
Philipp Reisner studied computer sciences at the Technical University in Vienna (TU Wien). The author of the world-wide used cluster-solution DRBD is a regular lecturer on high-availability at international Linux congresses. The subject of his diploma thesis "cluster for high-availability" has become a strong product branch at LINBIT. Philipp Reisner directs the technical agendas at LINBIT.
