Open Source has become an integral part it IT systems all around the world. It changed the way we think, work and live. Beside, media industry has to deal with big changes in their business: Less people buy for
printed content, instead they are switching to digital content. This session shows how Open Source technologies help to anticipate new technologies in media industry and save development and production costs. The audience learns how European publishers and Web 2.0 startups use open source operating systems, frameworks and other tools for their daily business.
